Ania-Ariadna Baetica

My research is on the application and development of methods from engineering and applied mathematics to solving problems in synthetic and systems biology. I employ tools from control theory, mathematical modeling, and Monte Carlo methods to perform feedback controller design, parameter inference, and analysis of biological systems. I collaborate with synthetic biologists to develop a principled approach to engineering robust biological systems and devices for bioengineering, medicine, and scientific discovery.
