Peer Reviewers with expertise in biological, chemical, physical sciences, and engineering for Rapid Reviews: COVID-19 (RR:C19)

Rapid Reviews: COVID-19 (RR:C19) is a newly funded initiative of the MIT Press and University of California, Berkeley that has launched an open access, rapid-review overlay journal for the accelerated curation and peer review of COVID19-related research.
RR:C19 is overseen by an Editorial Board representing experts from every corner of the globe, but the effort also relies on a ground-up effort where students and early-career researchers lead a critical “pre” peer review process that allow us to scrape preprint servers (e.g. BioRxiv, MedRxiv, SSRN) weekly, and advance important or controversial papers for urgent peer review. These peer reviews and articles are published on an open, public platform.
We are currently looking to identify peer reviewers with expertise in biological, chemical, physical sciences, and engineering. These pre-prints focus on a wide breadth of topics, including:
- AI-, machine learning-, and big data-based technologies
- Computational modeling
- Diagnostics and medical devices
- Mechanisms of disease and disease pathogenesis
- Small molecule therapeutics
- Synthetic biology
If you are interested in serving as a peer reviewer, please take a moment to fill out this Google Form. Additionally, please feel free to contact us directly with any questions or concerns ([email protected]; [email protected]). We hope to hear from you soon!
